At Kindness Animal Hospital, we are not an emergency hospital, but our veterinarians and staff are on duty five days a week and trained and equipped to handle some emergencies and urgent care. Please call us at (301) 949-2511 prior to your arrival so that we may prepare for you and your pet.

In the rare case that a pet arrives with an urgent or life threatening condition, our staff will evaluate and triage your pet. The most serious emergencies will be attended to immediately. Patients that are less urgent or stable will be treated as soon as possible. We ask that you be aware that, in the case of non-emergencies, scheduled appointments will be given priority.
