![]() | Polycarp Obinero Abii Abii was born and grew up in Nigeria, where he received his DVM from Ahmadu Bello University. Since he moved to the Unted States, he has been involved in many aspects of the veterinary world: large animal research at the FDA, emergency/critical care specialty work, and of course his current position as a small animal veterinary technician. In total, he has over 15 years of experience working with animals. In his spare time, Abii plays tennis and enjoys interacting with dogs and cats. He also loves spending time with his wife Chinyere Obinero and son Kelechi. | |
Gael Baker Gael has been involved in the world of veterinary medicine for over 25 years. She enjoys all aspects of being a veterinary technician, but is particularly interested in chronic diseases, geriatric patients, and special-needs pets. In her free time, Gael is learning Chinese and Spanish. She also enjoys grooming older shorthaired dogs and cats. She is also planning to enroll in an AAHA veterinary technician program in order to become licensed. | ![]() | |

Daniel Montes Daniel is a premedical student at Montgomery College. He is originally from Panama. He has been working as a veterinary technician for the past 8 years. He is particularly interested in veterinary dentistry, and he has received training from one of the best-known veterinary dentists in the United States. He finds work as a technician particularly rewarding because he can interact with people while helping to heal their pets. He wishes to continually improve his skills as a veterinary technician, in order to provide optimal care. Daniel's hobbies revolve around the enjoyment of life. He enjoys playing classical guitar with his teacher, and aspires to perform publicly.

She has a B.S. in Equine Studies from Centenary College, and has completed Animal Science coursework at the University of Maryland. Erin's hobbies include riding horses, competing in dressage, and eventing. She also enjoys bike riding and listening to music. She has four feline companions, Bishop, Yoda, Kitty, and Poof, and a yellow Labrador Retriever named Titan. | |
Donna Southers Donna has worked as a veterinary technician for over 15 years, and became certified while working as an emergency/critical care specialist. She is committed to providing the highest quality care for all animals, and has enjoyed joining the Kindness team. Outside of work, Donna enjoys attending church and spending time with her cat, Simba. She also enjoys reading, fishing, antiquing, and helping the less fortunate.
