Marc S. Katz, D.V.M.

Marc S. Katz, DVM, graduated from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1977. He also received a Master's degree in Veterinary Cardiology in 1977. Dr. Katz completed an internship program in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania in 1978.

Dr. Katz is currently associated with the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Maryland Veterinary Medical Association, the Greater Baltimore Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Animal Hospital Association. He is accredited with the USDA Animal Health Inspection service. He keeps current by attending a minimum of two (and usually six) cutting-edge continuing education seminars a year. His interests in veterinary medicine include diagnostic medicine and cardiology.

Having loved and cared for a number of pets throughout childhood, most notably two Saint Bernards, Dr. Katz's choice of veterinary medicine was a perfect fit. His extensive education and clinical experience at Kindness Animal Hospital over the past twenty-six years has helped him to keep his patients happy and healthy.

Dr. Katz's hobbies include running, hiking, and biking. He and his wife Debbie are proud parents of four sons, ages 11, 16, 17, and 22, in addition to a wonderful Golden Retriever named Mandy.
