Admissions and Hopsitalization:

Our doctors are available by appointment only. Please call or reception desk at 301-949-2511 to schedule an appointment.
If you are a new client to the practice, you may wish to fill out our New Client Form and bring it to your appointment.
If you are coming to the clinic for your pet's annual vaccines, please fill out the Annual Health Questionaire.

It is our policy to collect a deposit on all animals which require hospitalization.

We require preanesthetic bloodwork on all dogs and cats undergoing an anesthetic procedure. For pets older than 6 years of age, we recommend having the blood sample taken 2-3 days prior to the anesthetic procedure. This can be performed by a technician on an appointment basis.

Cats and dogs undergoing an anesthetic procedure should receive NO FOOD AFTER 8pm the evening before the procedure. Fasting requirements for other species will be explained by the doctor.

We require a preanesthetic release form from all clients whose pets are to undergo anesthesia. This form may be found here.

Kindness is proud to offer after-hours telephone consultations with our doctors for clients after hours (until 10 pm). Simply call our regular telephone number (301-949-2511) after hours and the message will describe how to contact the doctor-on-call.

We refer all after-hours emergencies to the Metropolitan Emergency Animal Clinic (MEAC). This emergency facility is located on Nebel Street in Rockville, near the corner of Randolph/Montrose and Rockville Pike. MEAC's telephone number is 301-770-5225.

We offer discounts for senior citizens, clients with multiple pets, animal rescue groups, and school pets. Please inquire about these discounts with our reception staff.

Payment is due at the time services are rendered. Deposits are required for hospitalized patients. Clients who qualify may use CareCredit to pay for service; more information is available through our reception staff.
